According to the regulatory legal act, the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies until 2030 outlines target indicators for the advancement of AI technologies that must be achieved by the specified deadline.
In particular, it aims to increase the volume of software products and services based on artificial intelligence to $1.5 billion, with the share of services provided on the EPIKU (my.gov.uz) platform using artificial intelligence reaching 10 percent.
Additionally, it mentions the goal of increasing the number of scientific laboratories engaged in AI activities to 10 units, as well as launching high-performance computing servers.
The objective is for the Republic of Uzbekistan to enter the top 50 countries in the Government AI Readiness Index.
By September 1, 2025, a "big data" database will be established to provide necessary data for projects and scientific-practical research, with all information security measures taken in accordance with legislative requirements.
By May 1, 2026, within the framework of AI technology implementation projects, computing capacities intended for data processing will be launched.
