The capital has completed the review and adjustment of the boundaries of the neighborhoods.

In Tashkent, a two-year process of reviewing and adjusting the boundaries of mahallas has concluded. This initiative aims to enhance territorial management and streamline the interaction between local authorities and residents.
The capital has completed the review and adjustment of the boundaries of the neighborhoods.

According to the press service of the city administration, the Department of Digital Development has published updated maps on its website, indicating the precise coordinates of 585 mahallas in the city.

As reported by the city administration, in 2020 and 2021, part of the territory of the Tashkent region was transferred to the capital, altering the boundaries of five districts. However, the boundaries of the mahallas remained unchanged, which sometimes led to confusion: some chairpersons served neighboring districts without knowing the exact borders of their territories. Additionally, the need to review and modify the boundaries of mahallas arose due to the construction of roads and multi-story buildings.

According to the new map of Tashkent, the city now comprises 585 mahallas: 64 in the Yunusabad district, 55 in the Chilanzar district, 60 in the Uchtepa district, 64 in the Almazar district, 51 in the Shaykhantahur district, 21 in the Yakkasaray district, 18 in the Bektemir district, 39 in the Mirabad district, 70 in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, 67 in the Yashnabad district, 46 in the Sergeli district, and 30 in the Yangihayot district.

It is worth noting that you can familiarize yourself with the updated maps of the capital's districts on the website of the Department of Digital Development.
