During the opening ceremony, participants and guests were warmly welcomed by the organizers: the director of VMSA and the official representative of Messe Frankfurt in Uzbekistan, Dilfuza Samandrova, the vice president of Messe Frankfurt, Michael Johannes, and the general manager of Shell, Haythem Yehya. In their speeches, they highlighted the rapid development of the automotive industry in recent years. New factories are being launched in collaboration with renowned companies from France, China, and Germany, which enhances product quality and incorporates the latest technologies that meet user demands.
The name Automechanika Tashkent speaks for itself, but it is more than just a car exhibition. Guests can expect a showcase of luxurious and eye-catching vehicles that captivated not only the participants but also media representatives. This year, around 420 companies from Uzbekistan, Italy, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Poland, Turkey, and India exhibited their products over an area of more than 8,500 square meters. Notably, the scale of representation from China was impressive, with over 250 companies occupying nearly half of the exhibition hall. More than 20 companies represented Uzbekistan.
After the ceremonial cutting of the red ribbon, guests and participants had the opportunity to explore the products at the booths, showcasing auto parts, electronics and communication systems, accessories and tuning, oils and auto chemistry, cleaning, repair, and maintenance products, as well as tires and rims.
The hosts and managers at each booth were eager to share information about their products and discuss future plans.
David Wong, Sales Manager at Tianrui Filter (China):
“Our company, which manufactures automotive filters, has been successfully operating for 20 years. Although this is our first experience participating in an exhibition in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, we have had the honor of showcasing our products at exhibitions in other countries. We offer a wide range of filters, from air and oil filters to exhaust gas purification filters.
This year, we proudly present our new products that fit various car models. Our filters are designed with the individual characteristics of each model in mind, such as dimensions, fuel, and oil consumption. Currently, our representation is only in China; however, we actively collaborate with automotive enterprises in ten countries, including Japan and Canada.
Our main goal is to establish contacts with manufacturers from other countries, showcase our products, and secure mutually beneficial contracts.”
Elizaveta Kokunova, Representative of IRBIS MOTIRS (Russia):
“We have been successfully operating in the Russian Federation market for 13 years in the field of motor technology. Our product range includes ATVs, snowmobiles, and a full production cycle with a localization level of about 85%. We came to the exhibition in Uzbekistan to find dealers and start promoting our equipment here, assisting local users.
Even though our name is not yet well-known in Uzbekistan, we have already attracted the attention of visitors interested in our products, who suggest that we focus more on advertising — this will help us improve our market position. Our ATVs with increased displacement, as well as new models in the snowmobile lineup, are already certified, and we are confident that we can successfully compete with Chinese manufacturers.
At the exhibition, we are emphasizing our new product — an electric snowmobile, which has become the first certified in Russia. This event also underscores our commitment to environmental protection. Among our offerings are also new snowmobiles and ATVs with increased displacement that provide greater power and maneuverability. We continuously innovate, updating our products every year, whether through upgrades or new models, and we will continue to participate in such events to expand our market presence.”
Behzod Mirzaev, Manager of the Bulgarian company AREON, which produces air fresheners:
“We have been successfully operating in the Uzbekistan market for 12 years, offering air fresheners not only for cars but also for home use, furniture, and special sachets for wardrobes. One of our unique developments is the 'pyramids' with a volume of 230 milliliters, which provide three levels of fragrance.
We have branches in all regions of the country, except for the Fergana region, where a separate dealer operates, similarly in the city of Kokand. In the near future, we plan to launch the production of auto chemical products for polishing and washing cars, as well as for cleaning engines and carburetors. As for our air fresheners that you see here, the range is simply vast.
The event will last until October 25, and during these three days, guests can expect various master classes on airbrushing, sessions, presentations on innovations in logistics, proper business practices, and more.
