Former CSKA defender Vitaly Denisov shared his thoughts on the potential transfer of the club's midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullayev to one of the European leagues. In an interview with "Sovetsky Sport," Denisov emphasized that as long as the transfer has not taken place, any discussions on the subject are premature.
"Right now, talking about Fayzullayev's transfer is merely speculative. We can only draw concrete conclusions after an official announcement regarding the deal," Denisov stressed.
He acknowledged that if the transfer occurs, CSKA is likely to receive significant financial compensation. "Undoubtedly, losing such a player would be a tangible loss for the club. However, on the other hand, this presents a great opportunity for Fayzullayev to advance his career at a higher level," the former defender added.
Denisov refrained from making a definitive assessment of Fayzullayev's readiness to compete in a European club.
"Whether he possesses the necessary qualities will only become evident after his potential transfer. Fayzullayev is a fast, skillful player, and such athletes are always in demand in Europe," Denisov noted. He urged everyone to wait for developments and only then draw conclusions about the prospects of the Uzbek midfielder.
It is worth mentioning that earlier media reports indicated interest in Fayzullayev from both "Monaco" and "Real Sociedad."
