It was particularly emphasized that penalties for crimes related to human trafficking, including abduction, the use of violence or threats of violence, or other forms of coercion, are being intensified.
The law proposes amendments that introduce stricter penalties for individuals who commit human trafficking offenses against pregnant women.
Senators highlighted that the implementation of the law serves as a deterrent to crimes related to human trafficking, contributes to effective combat against such crimes, ensures proportional punishment for these acts, and provides effective protection for the rights of children and women.
As a result of the discussion, the law was approved by the senators.
