The Yandex Go service has launched a new feature in test mode in Russia, allowing passengers to complain about trip costs through the app. This is reported on the company's website.
In the price details section, users can specify what exactly raises questions: the final amount, price changes due to traffic jams, high demand, or calculation rules. Customer support will respond to inquiries, clarify pricing, and suggest ways to save.
The collected data is planned to be used for developing new measures to curb prices in 2025.
Previously, we wrote that in Uzbekistan, the Competition Committee demanded that Yandex Go lower taxi service prices and revise its pricing algorithm. This occurred after users complained about a sharp increase in trip costs at the beginning of December.
According to the committee, monitoring of the platform revealed significant tariff changes during the first 10 days of December. YANDEXGO UB LLC, recognized as a market operator with a dominant position, was warned about the need to rectify violations. The committee mandated Yandex Go to reduce passenger transport costs and ensure transparency in tariff formation.
