On December 21, 46 Uzbekistan nationals were stranded in a broken bus in Kazakhstan, reports the publication Orda.

The incident occurred on the night of December 21 on the Samara-Shymkent highway in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region. Due to the bus breakdown, the passengers were close to freezing. Rescuers evacuated 52 passengers from the bus to the nearest warming point in the village of Irgiz, among whom was one child.

Most of the passengers were citizens of Uzbekistan, with six from Tajikistan. No one required medical assistance. All passengers continued their journey on another bus.
