Uzbekistan ranks 86th in the global prosperity index.

In the ranking of the HelloSafe Prosperity Index-2024, Uzbekistan is in 86th place, scoring 35.3 points. Tajikistan is in 104th place (30.93 points), ahead of Kyrgyzstan (114th place, 29.36 points), but behind Turkmenistan (103rd place, 31.03 points), Kazakhstan (49th place, 47.36 points), and Russia (50th place, 46.69 points).

The HelloSafe ranking is based on data from the World Bank and UNDP, assessing countries across six key indicators: GDP per capita, income level assessment, Human Development Index (HDI), income inequality indicator (Gini coefficient), poverty level, and the readiness (ability) to save (build a "safety cushion").

The results of the HelloSafe Prosperity Index reveal that European countries dominate the top twenty most prosperous nations, with Luxembourg leading, followed by Norway and Ireland.

“This ranking reflects the economic strength of these countries combined with high human development and income equality indicators. Qatar and Singapore stand out as the only non-European countries in the top five, highlighting their dynamic economies and developed infrastructure. The USA and Canada occupy the 18th and 19th positions, while France rounds out the top twenty with a score of 60.4, indicating a high level of prosperity, albeit lower than that of Northern European countries and some dynamic Asian economies,” note the authors of the ranking.
