Today, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed a decree regarding this matter.
The document states that the actor of theater and cinema, as well as the ballet artist and director, have been honored with the award for their significant contributions to the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, the strengthening of traditional ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations, and the valuable input made through their unique and remarkable talent, fruitful creative work in film and theater, and the expansion of cooperation in the fields of culture and art, as well as the preservation and enrichment of spiritual values.
Previously, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed a decree to award Uzbek artists Farrukh Zakirov and Sevara Nazarkhan with the Order of Friendship.
