Today, for the first time, national music resonated in the departure hall of Tashkent International Airport. Passengers were introduced to a unique and refined musical genre that carries profound meaning and reflects the national culture.

The goal of the concert is to promote national music and attract as many spectators as possible to the performances of the artists.

The ensemble performed classic pieces such as Munojot, Soʻz demay, Boʻlmagʻay, Boʻylaringga, Shoʻx yallalar, Shahloga tushdi, Mavrigi, Oʻxshaydi. Folk and honored artists of Uzbekistan, including Isroiljon Vakhobov, Abdunabi Ibragimov, Matlyuba Dadaboeva, Ahmadjon Dadaev, Gulbahor Yerkulova, Nuriddin Aminjonov, and others, took the stage before the passengers.

"This is a very interesting experience for us. We have conducted symphonic and dance flash mobs, but today the airport danced to Uzbek national music for the first time. Makom is our heritage, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Today, not only Uzbeks but also guests of our country had a unique opportunity to listen to this wonderful music. The reaction from passengers and those seeing them off was astonishing," commented the concert from the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

It is worth noting that tomorrow, December 6, another concert featuring the "Makom" ensemble will take place at the capital's airport. The program will include young artists from the Uzbek National Center for Arts and musicians from the regional branch of the center in the Tashkent region.
