The price of secondary housing in Uzbekistan has increased, according to a report by CEIR.

In November 2024, prices for secondary housing rose by an average of 0.3%. In the Namangan region, prices surged by 3.1%, while in Surkhandarya, they climbed by 2.6%. Conversely, apartment prices in Andijan and Syrdarya regions fell by 4.5% and 2.2%, respectively.

From January to November 2024, property prices increased by 6.2%. Apartments in Surkhandarya became 18% more expensive, while in Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions, prices rose by 11.9% and 10.2%, respectively.

During this period, apartment prices in Tashkent decreased by 1.5%, although the average price per square meter remains the highest in the country at $1,102. Among districts, the most significant price increase occurred in the Bektemir district at 4.4%, followed by Yashnabad at 2.4% and Shaykhantahur at 2.2%.

Additionally, in November 2024, Uzbeks completed nearly 22,000 real estate purchase agreements. Over the year, this figure rose by 0.8%, peaking in October with an increase of 2.5%. Demand for housing surged by more than 15% in Khorezm region, by 9.3% in Tashkent, and by 8.4% in Bukhara region.

It was previously reported that renting an apartment with a ready-made renovation has become cheaper in Tashkent. The most expensive district for rental housing has been identified.
