In 2025, support for individuals in the fields of art and culture, as well as library and museum services, will be strengthened, according to the presentation of measures for the development of the culture and arts sector to the president.
Starting next year, salaries for workers in this sector will be increased by 15%. The salary increase will be linked to their performance indicators. Factors such as the provision of cultural services to the public, particularly tours in remote regions, the creation of new works, and the identification of talented youth will be taken into account.
In 2025, the salaries of employees of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan will see a significant increase. It is planned that the orchestra will create new musical works annually based on state orders. The orchestra will also organize tours across the regions of the country and abroad, as well as concerts for employees of large enterprises and organizations. To train young talents, schools for conducting and orchestral performance are expected to be established.
The head of state emphasized the need to enhance the level of education in the fields of culture and arts, and tasked the authorities with developing a unified system for identifying, selecting, training, and nurturing talented youth, as well as ensuring the coherence of curricula and programs across general, extracurricular, vocational, and higher education, as well as cultural and artistic institutions.
