In Tashkent, rental prices have decreased, according to data from the CEIR.
Specifically, in November 2024, the average rental cost was $8.3 per square meter. Notably, experts observed a decline in rental rates in five districts of the capital.
The most significant price drop occurred in the Sergeli and Uchtepa districts, averaging a decrease of 4.5%. In the central areas of the city, such as Mirabad, Shayhantahur, and Yakkasaray, prices remained stable, holding steady at 10-11 dollars per square meter.
From January to November 2024, rental costs fell by 10.7%, with the largest decreases in the Uchtepa district at 14.5%, Yashnabad at 14.3%, and Yunusabad at 13.8%.
The number of purchase and sale transactions across Uzbekistan increased by 2.5%. In November, the total reached 21,900. Over the year, this figure grew by 0.8%. Among the regions, Khorezm was the leader in the number of such transactions, with a 15.6% rise, followed by Bukhara with a 6.2% increase.
Tashkent continues to dominate the market, accounting for approximately 30% of all transactions. In the capital, market activity rose by 9.3% in November.
It was previously reported that housing prices in the secondary market in Uzbekistan have increased. From January to November 2024, real estate prices rose by 6.2%.
